Counselling

Why Counselling?

There are many times  in your life when you feel there is no solution to the problems you are facing
You may be suffering from panic attacks or other alarming symptoms caused by stress
You may lack confidence, feel anxious and generally unable to cope
Work may be getting on top of you
You may have difficulties, either emotional or sexual, in relating to other people
You may worry about your health, for example relying on smoking or alcohol too much
You may be dealing with serious illness or the death of a friend
You may have no problems at all, but you may want to have counselling to find out more about yourself and perhaps to achieve personal growth.

Hypnotherapy

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is simply an altered state of awareness that we naturally enter many times a day.

Hypnosis is focusing on the unconscious mind's development rather than the conscious mind.

Sitting on a train and not remembering the last 5 stops, or day dreaming is a good example of a natural hypnotic state.  Everybody needs to drift into these states to allow the conscious mind's experiences to be filed into the unconscious mind.  This is sometimes called the filing system which stores every second of your life.  By tapping into this system directly in trance, you can retrieve and develop the information so that the unconscious mind stores it in a more appropriate way.  Carefully worded suggestions are directed to your unconscious mind to develop the desired change.   This new information is then available to be filtered back to the conscious mind in its new format.  Hence a new healthy habit is affirmed!

Hypnosis is beneficial for anyone who would like to develop or change particular issues in their lives:

Phobias
Stress
Skin disorders
Self esteem and confidence
Insomnia
Panic disorders
Anxiety
Smoking
Weight control
Goal setting
Performance enhancement
Public speaking
Pain control

and many more issues.

Fees:                                  1 hour          £75

NLP -

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

NEURO means the nervous system with our fives senses (seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and smelling).

LINGUISTIC means language and also non-verbal communication systems through which our experiences are ordered and given meaning.  This includes memories, imaginings, feelings, self-talk etc.

PROGRAMMING means the ability to discover, utilise amd change the patterns that we run in out thinking, feeling and in our behaviour.  This includes beliefs, attitudes, values, habits etc.

NLP combines safe and approved psychotherapeutic processes in a new and dynamic way tailored to your individual needs.

Some clients have described their sessions as a dream-like experience where suddenly everything falls into place.

NLP is the practical psychology of how to use the mind to consistently achieve goals such as good health, fulfilling relationships, emotional balance, peace of mind, confidence and self-esteem, wealth and success and more . . . .

What would happen if you could overcome the things that limit you?

Our Master Practitioner of NLP, Michael Kaufmann, has any years of clinical experience.   During a session you will sit comfortably and enjoy a conversation that will guide you from your from your problems to its solution via guided visualisations, reframing unconscious patterns, "time travel" to heal events from the past, anchoring new associations and other powerful techniques.
